    The workshop was very interesting and it was good to reflect back about why we had become teachers in the first place and our own bodily responses to our different emotions.

    I found the neuroscience section intriguing, and although I already had previous knowledge about this through my play therapy training, it was good to refresh and go into more detail, which Laura did.

    The 'Teaching Through Connection' workshop was incredibly powerful and insightful. It really resonated with me on a personal and professional level. Exploring topics like self-reflection, understanding the nervous system, and creating our own emotional thermometers helped me gain a deeper awareness of my own emotional state and how it affects my teaching. I left with practical strategies and calming tools that I can use to support not only my own regulation but also to help the children I work with navigate their emotions more effectively.
